The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Winsor can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Martha and family. We were very sad to hear about Bill's passing. We are thinking of you, your children, grandchildren and extended family and hope you are all well, especially during this time of sadness. The wonderful memories you have of Bill and his contributions and talents will help you keep him with you always. Fred and I were talking about Bill the other evening recalling not only his gentle, generous and kind nature, but also how diverse his interests were. We always loved that about him. I also remember his laugh. He had a fun, natrual, genuine laugh that made you realize what a great sense of humor he had. He was a wondrful teacher for me and a fantastic comrade and colleague of Fred's. Take care. Maddy & Fred.

Condolence: Peace and prayers for all the Winsor family. 'The Professor' was one of my favorite teachers at UB in the fall of '71, and it was an honor and a privilege to learn from him in his English Comp. class. It was a wonderful coincidence a few years later to welcome the family to the Town Times Tea Men youth soccer experience in Watertown when the family lived there! God bless you all and thanks again, Bill! RIP. Tommy Valuckas, Watertown, UB '75
