You said you would see me when I got home...what happened? Guess you changed addresses on me; but know you can see me now, even without me leaving Mexico. I will miss you Poppa. I will always remember the running-nose chili with stacks of white bread, Mariah as a toddler 'walking' in your shoes, I was especially proud when the 4 of us were together, people would look at S and say how much she looked like mom and look at me and say how much I looked like you; you were totally AWESOME to Mom....Dutch apple pie will always remind me of you.
I know that biology makes fathers...but Poppa? you were the best Dad a kid could ever have!
Thanks for falling in love with my mom and marrying her.
You made us a family.
I guess we'll have to put that Cribbage game on hold until I see you again.
