Obituary for Bonnie Lynn Grinvalsky

Morris- Bonnie Lynn Grinvalsky, 70, passed away peacefully in the company of her loved ones on August 24, 2015. She was born on December 25, Christmas Day in 1944 in Wallingford, CT to the late Charles and May (Pogmore) Wooding. She is survived by her husband, Richard, of Morris, CT, her daughter, Juliana of Weston, VT, her sister Diane Burgess of Portland, CT and her brother Charles Wooding of Grand Rapids, MI.

Bonnie spent her life as an educator, retiring after 37 years as a science teacher at Shepaug Valley Regional High School in Washington, CT. Her love of community led her to helping wherever she was needed, volunteering for the girl scouts and serving on the boards of the; Morris Republican Town Committee, the Morris Scholarship Foundation, and the Bantam Lake Authority. Bonnie loved the outdoors and working on her family farm in Morris.

The Grinvalsky family would like to thank the visiting nurses of Torrington for the loving care of Bonnie in her final days. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VNA Northwest, 607 Bantam Road, Unit F, Bantam, CT 06750 in her memory.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 12-2:30pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A memorial service at 3:00pm.
