Obituary for Charles H. Momm
Charles H. Momm, age 83, died peacefully at home in Harwinton, CT on Nov. 4th, 2014. Charlie graduated from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy in 1956. He worked for United Aircraft and then Torin Corporation until he founded Accra-Temp, Inc in West Hartford, Ct in 1972.
Charlie loved his home of 50 years in Harwinton and it was always the center for gatherings of family and friends especially on fair weekend. He also enjoyed being a pilot and spent many years travelling until he and Lorie settled in their vacation home in the Bahamas. There they spent many winters on warm sandy beaches and golf courses and made many lasting friendships. He will be missed by so many.
Charles is survived by his wife, Lorie Momm; his daughter, Holly Momm Seely, daughter, Leslie Szydlo; his son, Stephen Momm, step children Stephanie Kastenhuber and Peter Moller, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to VNA Northwest Hospice, 607 Bantam Road, Unit F, Bantam, CT 06750.
Private services will be held on November 8th for Immediate family.
