Mildred E. Wright

Mildred Elizabeth Wright, 86, passed away on July 31, 2014 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of Chester Wright. Mildred was born on May 28, 1928 in White Plains, New York to the late William VanTyne and Ella Mae (Burns) VanTyne.

Mildred retired from PTC aerospace, was an avid gardener and had a love for cats.

In addition to her husband, Chester, she is survived by her son Edward Manjuck of Durham, CT, daughter Marilyn Holley of Stamford, CT, three grandchildren; Karen Thiruvalan, Kyle Manjuck, and Todd Manjuck and two great-grandchildren; Sarah and Paige Koba.

Calling hours will be held at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, CT on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 4-6pm. A service will follow calling hours at 6:00pm. Burial will be private.
