Condolence From: Elsa Clark
Condolence: Rest In Peace Ted. If they have a tractor in heaven for you to drive, with room on the back for Woody Clark, I imagine you both out there in golden fields, talking town politics. My sympathy of loss goes to all his family and old friends.

Condolence: I just wanted to offer my condolences. The posted obituary told me a lot about him, and it makes me realize why your family has such a love of the natural world and the business of farming. God bless your family. Stephanie

Condolence: Fortunate enough to meet some of the folks which made Milton so singular ,I knew Ted since I moved out there in the summer of 1976. One of the first locals I met.I spent time with him on the phone and he took care of business when I related to him that I'd like to serve the community in some position.Ted had me installed on The Milton Historic Diistrict commission, A position I learned and grew in for a decade. I well remember him as our first selectman too and he oversaw all business of Litchfield. In my zeal as a young man I once crossed a wetland with my driveway with no okay. He quietly revealed that he had interceded in my behalf in the 'allowance' of that transgression. Might have been the last time I spoke with him . A great Man and a Yankee of no little repute. I was at his gravesite on Headquarters only last Friday and remarked upon the lettering of he and Martha's simple stone.
