Condolences

Condolence From: Patricia Firth Currey
Condolence: I have just learned of Gerry’s passing in May. He was a lifelong friend of my father, Bob Firth, and my siblings and I have such fond memories of him. Dad and he shared Brooklyn Prep and ND memories, as well as both serving in Italy during WWII. They were indeed part of the “greatest generation”. If Seton or Carmelita (I cannot remember her married name)or any of his children would email me, I would love to keep in touch. Priscilla or Patricia came to a dinner at my home on Beacon hill almost 20 years ago and brought the most beautiful flowers. Peter brought his Dad to our Dad’s funeral in SOuth Bend. Gerry was special in so many ways. May he Rest In Peace. Patricia Currey

Condolence: Mr. O’Reilly had a way of making you feel like you were the most interesting person in the world, (even at age thirteen). He was such a kind, gentle, loving man with that incredibly bright spirit. I always picture him with a huge smile, and a joyfulness that just penetrated the room. He embraced life with a full heart, and loved all of you so much. What a wonderful model for his beautiful family, and for all of us who felt fortunate just to know him.

Condolence: Dear Trish,
Ed and I are so sorry for your tremendous loss. We feel honored that we were blessed with meeting your Dad. He certainly was a wonderful man who lived an extraordinary life and has left so many family members to carry on his legacy. I'm sure he will be greatly missed but you will always have his humor, values and his zest for living with you.
With love,
Nancy and Ed
I'm so sorry that we cannot attend the mass for your father. As it turns out I will be attending a mass in Waterbury for my eldest cousin Theresa who also passed.

Condolence: Dearest O'Reilly Family and Friends

This is hard to write but I want you all to know how sorry I am your loss.
My sister Vivien has been keeping me informed in the past days and I wanted you all
to know that I have been thinking so fondly of you all.
Although I met Mr O'Reilly only a few times it was always joyful. He had such a gentle souI and one could see that instantly. I have and will always remembered those moments.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
