Condolence From: Debbie and Pat
Condolence: We first met Dorie when moving my Dad into Brookdale. In the short time of six weeks or so, she would always wave to us or come over and hold hands. You could see that she was friendly and liked people. She always enjoyed the guitar music on the weekends which made her happy. We enjoyed our brief time knowing her. What a sweet lady. Our condolences to her niece and the rest of the family.

Condolence: Dorrie was a wonderful friend and co-worker at Torrington Savings Bank. She was kind, smart, generous and loving to all she came in contact with. She was a beautiful LADY and an inspiration to all of us who knew her.
My condolences to all of her family - She certainly will be missed.

Condolence: Sorry to learn of Dorie's passing, my heartfelt condolences to all her family. Dorie was my boss at Torrington Savings Bank and we became quick friends. We use to go to lunch together, play cards on our break time and went places together outside of work. One thing we loved to do together at lunch time was to go to the book store down the street and read the funny cards and laugh our heads off, the owner knew us well and put up a sign stating "no laughing". We laughed even harder. We always went out to dinner with our friend Lucia, we were like the three musketeers always together. We enjoyed celebrating our birthday's and Christmas's going out to dinner and exchanging gifts. When she first moved into assisted living we would visit her and take her out. A few years has gone buy since I saw her last. I want to say, that Dorie was loving, kind, never had a bad word to say about anyone. Always found the good in people. She lived life to the fullest, always on the go, having a good time and lots of laugh. I can picture her now having one heck of a family reunion in heaven having lots of fun and laughing. You are in God's hands now. He is lucky to have you.
