Rosemary Laser
Northfield - Rosemary Laser, 68, of Northfield, CT passed away on January, 12th, 2018 at her home. She was the loving wife of William E. Laser, married 39 years.

Rosemary was born September 15, 1949 in Bronx, NY, and raised in BayShore, NY. She was the daughter of Stanley J. Rejszel and Rose (Scagluiso) Rejszel. A graduate of Brentwood NY High School, she pursued a BA degree in Studio Art at SUNY Binghamton followed by a MFA in Painting from the University of Maryland. She spent time teaching at the University and also held a teaching license in NY. She moved to CT in 1978 and spent her remaining years living in Northfield, CT with her husband where she achieved a celebrated career as a top Program Analyst for the IRS. She retired in 2016 and turned her focus back to art as she prepared works for an upcoming show at Five Points Gallery in Torrington, CT.

She is survived by her husband William E. Laser; daughter Marie R. Buzzetti and husband Michael, son Steven J. Laser and wife Lydia; sister Barbara Lefkowitz and husband Robert; grandchildren, Zack, Malia and Kai; Goddaughter and niece, Melody Rodriguez and husband Eddie and children, Ava Rose, Alanna and Abby.

Rosemary loved her ever-growing family, taking pride in their achievements, showing support and sharing wisdom along the way. She found great joy in pursuing her artwork, traveling with her husband, sister, Barbara and brother-in-law Robert, tending to her beautiful and expansive gardens, caring and watching for the native birds and listening to the sounds of the wind chimes that surrounded her home.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, CT 06759. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 837 Charles Street, Torrington, CT 06790.
