Brett R. Evangelisti died at his home on May 15th. He was born in Indianapolis on November 1st 1965 to Richard and Georgette (Delevieleuse) Evangelisti. He grew up in Litchfield and attended Litchfield public schools, graduating in 1983.

Brett was well known as a friendly and outgoing person who always had a smile for everyone he met. He was an animal lover and was especially fond of dogs. He enjoyed fishing, dirt bike racing and muscle cars. He worked as an electrician, a fishing guide and handyman.

Brett is survived by his father, Richard Evangelisti, his sister Tobi, and his daughter Elexa Holmes. He was predeceased by his mother, his fiancé, Leslie Holmes, and his faithful dog, Yonder.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, CT 06759. Friends and Family may call prior to the service from 11:00am-1:00pm.
