I was devastated to learn of Kurt's passing. Kurt and I were best of friends way back in the 80's in Woods Hole. We were the night line cooks at The Fish Monger. Kurt was a special man. Strong, athletic, kind and just a lot of fun to be with. After moving to SF he came to visit and we had a blast. Lots of memories. Kurt saved my life on one Ill advised venture to a barge after a night out at The Captain Kid. We were room mates several times. I really am having a hard time believing he is gone. RIP my friend.
