Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Friend

Bantam - Louise C. Ravenscroft Clock Waters passed away on Sunday April 22 at the Ravenscroft Homestead in Bantam, the same residence that she was born in 97 years earlier on December 11, 1920 to William Leander Ravenscroft and Lulu Dickinson Ravenscroft. She was predeceased by husbands Robert M. Clock, Ian C. Waters Sr, close friend Art Webster and brothers William, John, Lincoln,
and Ralph Ravenscroft.

Louise grew up in Bantam, graduated from Litchfield High School, worked at Travelers Ins. Co. in Hartford, as a floral designer in Georgia, Bantam School employee, and assisted in the family business with husband Bob. She was active as a parishioner and member of the Altar Guild at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bantam, as a member of the Milton Women's Club, and as a member of the Litchfield area Doll Club. Louise was a skilled seamstress, knitter, and needlepointer.

She is survived by her two sons, James A. Clock(Judy), West Hartford, VT, John Ravenscroft Clock (Gerri), Bantam, step children Sarah Bourne(Fred), Litchfield, Ian C. Waters II(Debbie), Torrington, Alec Waters(Randy Missimer) Bantam, Grandchildren Christopher Ravenscroft Clock(Jennifer) Marblehead, MA, Benjamin M. Clock(Caroline) Jamaica Plain, MA, Rebecca R. Clock (AJ Philippakis) Tiburon, CA, Hannah Bourne Albany, CA, Chloe Bourne Erie, CO, Ian C. Waters III Torrington, Meghan Waters, Lynn, MA, Nicholas Waters,
Cheshire, CT and Dennis Waters ,Watertown, CT. Great Grandchildren, Samantha Clock and Ethan Ravenscroft Clock, Marblehead, MA Sophie Lu and Lily Belle Philippakis Tiburon, CA

Louise was an inspiration to all her family and we thank her for setting the highest example of how to live our lives with quiet dignity and respect for all.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 28, 2018 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 802 Bantam Road, Bantam, CT. There are no calling hours.
